The Redmond Elementary PTSA electronic newsletter Kidz eMail was born on October 2006 as a low cost solution to serve our expanding online population. Parents have the option of only receiving Kidz eMail and no paper forms, getting both email and paper forms, or only receiving paper forms.

Kidz eMail is a weekly electronic newsletter, made by PTSA volunteers and sent, via email, to the Redmond Elementary community by our school principal.

Kidz eMail delivers one comprehensive, yet easy to read email in a consistent format, with the following advantages:

- Provides one central information outlet for all the different organizations working at Redmond Elementary, such as PTSA, Neighborhood Schoolhouse, Friends of Youth, Family Net, Redmond Boys and Girls.
- Saves the school an important amount of paper expenses, since parents have the option to opt out of paper delivery of school communicates.
- Working parents can review what’s going on at school at any time from their workplace, or print any forms they need.
- In a two parent household, both parents can sign up to receive the newsletter, thus increasing the chances for active involvement.
- A lot of information that might not be deemed relevant enough for a flyer has found a friendly means of distribution in Kidz eMail.
- The information and forms can be accessed from any computer with internet access.

All members of the Redmond Elementary community in the school email distribution list receive Kidz eMail, generally on Thursdays. To add your email address to the list, please send an email with your request to: jheid@lwsd.org
